Filter specialists LEE Filters have added a new Universal Lens Hood to their existing lens hood range.

As its name suggests, the Universal Hood can be configured to suit many specific needs. It can be used as a simple lens shade or can hold one, two or three filters in any standard thickness.

The Universal Hood uses the unique self-supporting bellows technology that is currently used on all existing LEE Filter hoods. This technology allows the hood to be positioned without the need of guides or rails and will stay rigidly in place.

Its size and shape not only make it an ideal general-purpose hood, but also an effective lens shade for anyone using wide-angle lenses on either 35mm or medium format cameras.
