This lens covers the ultra-telephoto range up to 800mm. It has two ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion) glass elements in the front lens group for excellent correction of chromatic aberration. The HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) delivers fast, silent AF performance. The lens is also capable of full-time manual focus. By adding an APO teleconverter, which is sold separately,you can use this lens as a 420-1120 f8 MF ultra-telephoto zoom lens with a 1.4x EX teleconverter, or as a 600-1600mm f11 MF ultra-telephoto zoom lens with a 2x EX teleconverter.
Available in Nikon AFD, Canon EOS and Sigma fitting.
